Hi Tim, Just wanted to take this opportunity to say thanks for a memorable morning Monday and it was just the antidote for being unable to get out and around...Truly, getting out on the water with you is “bread for the head” and am very appreciative of you always going the extra mile on each and every trip...hope that fish is not a once in a lifetime experience...there has to be a few more out there, don’t you think? Thanks again for a great memory. -Fred

Tim,
Thank you so much for the father and son trip we had. Unlike the Spring 2012 trip which occurred after a storm. You did put us into fish that June 2012 trip, but was not typical of expected Florida fishing. This year’s trip out far exceeded our expectations. I hoped we would get into fish but did not expect BIG REDS in so thick. My son Drew caught fish as the line hit the water. The big BULL RED Drew first landed tired him out. He said he needed a break. I told him you don’t take a break until the fish do. Very soon he wasn’t tired anymore, excitement and the action took over. Soon after that was when he landed the Snook. It was too bad the Snook exceeded the slot limit by 2.5”. It would have made a nice dinner that night. We were hooked up on doubles so many times I lost count. Beautiful Scenery added to the day and made a memorable trip. I can’t wait (Drew also) until we are in Marco for our next trip out with you. There are a couple of Guys here in Northeast that would love to go out for a guys trip (Drew would want to attend I bet). I will be in touch. Thank you, Pete Classen, Operations Manager, AEAC Tim,
Here is a picture of the 27 inch, 10 pound Redfish I caught while fishing with you on February 7th. You were nice enough to fillet it. On your suggestion we took the fillets to Cocomo’s. They cooked it to perfection. We all felt it was some of the best tasting fish we have eaten. THANKS! On the trip itself, it was the highlight of my vacation. I enjoyed every minute of the time spent with you on your boat. You did everything you could do to make sure I caught fish. You coached, praised when I did something right and was gentle with your critique of some bad casts etc. You are a great teacher and guide, I was able to take home some excellent tips that I will be able to use on future fishing trips. Basically, you made the day one that will not be forgotten. Thanks again for a great day John Loehr Capt. Tim,
I wanted to express to you how much I enjoyed the day that I spent fishing with you. I think the word that best describes the day is “Wow”. The feeding frenzy of birds and fish that made you resort to, as you say, “Run & Gun” was an experience that I will cherish and never forget. The only way to explain those circumstances is complete mayhem, with the Shark that took the Blue Runner and ripped the line from the reel until that barrel rolled leap from the water that cut the line, not to mention my first Snook catch (picture attached), is a Marco Island memory that will last forever. Your attention to detail, professionalism and overall friendly demeanour is very genuine and truly a breath of fresh air. I can’t imagine anyone that wouldn’t want to their friends, family or kids to experience what you offer. I’m definitely going to book with you again next year and can’t wait to hear the wonderful sound of “Fish On” and the reel singing. Sincerely, Andrew Perry Dear Capt. Tim.
While the fishing was a bit slow due to the cold front the night before....You did a great job in finding fish and working for hook-ups. I am very satisfied with your performance and for the fishing opportunities. I have a subscription to a publication call "The Angling Report" and I will be giving you high marks in the upcoming issue. I will be fishing with you again. S. Chies - Coon Rapids MN

Tim,
Greetings from snowy ohio...our temp right now is 26 degrees...anyway, you guided for me in early January. It took a little while to get the time to download the pictures, but I did! Thanks for a great trip. You did a great job taking the pictures as well as putting me on the fish. A guide of many talents! I really enjoyed the experience and I hope to get down south again soon! PS-I'm really sorry about that fly rod. I hope your replacement came through quickly. My story is still that the fish was SO BIG that it broke the rod ;-) Thanks Jon Keary Hello Capt. Tim,
Words cannot express the great time we had fishing with you the last two weeks. Having guided the group I take to Canada the last thirty years it is not the easiest thing to put people on fish every day and have the fish bite. You are a class act and I can't wait until next year to go fishing with you again. Your first concern was to make us happy. You made sure we had plenty of bait; you baited our hooks and helped when needed to remove fish from our hooks. Your manner of educating us was very helpful. Any parent would love to have you teach their children how to fish. Any one would be grateful to learn from you as well. I will put lighter line on my reels next time to increase my casting distance. Sometimes two or three feet more in a cast made the difference as to FISH ON or not. You didn't even get mad when I put mud in your boat from my shoes. I will not do that again. I consider myself an experienced freshwater fisherman but I learned so much from you that all my all my saltwater fishing success in the past was more by luck and not knowledge. You showed us that tide movement was everything. You showed us your way of tying the hook to the line with a loop knot and the leader to the braided line. I will surely use those knots when we head to CANADA next month. We still have a spot open for Canada, all you need is a little cash, a passport and transportation to WV. Again many thanks, "FISH ON" Randy Capt. Tim,
Your infinite patience, casting assistance and obvious enthusiasm for your work made Saturday's fishing trip one to remember. I don't think Bob will forget the single cast 11 lb red he caught any time soon. For a fishing novice, your instruction was right on the money. I had not been to Florida for more than 15 years, but I now look forward to the next opportunity to try my new-found knowledge (not expertise, but at least knowledge) to catch Red fish. It was a great time. Send along any photos you have on your camera to me so that I can show off the catch to a couple of people who travel to your area fairly often and may wish to use your services. Thanks again for a great time. Bruce Gillaspie Capt. Tim,
Just a note to let you know how much we enjoyed the fly fishing with you.. My son and I learned enough to make our future fly fish outings that much more enjoyable. My son got really "bit" from his first experience at fly fishing, and will be only getting better. I know guiding two novice fly fisherman wasn't easy but you made it fun and enjoyable.... Fishing for snook turned out to be a very exciting and rewarding experience, unlike any other. We will definitely be back !!!! again, thank you for an unforgettable all around experience. Dave Swenson Capt. Tim
Just wanted to drop you a short note on how much me and my sister enjoyed our fishing trip. You were on-time, courteous, patient and put us on a lot of fish. It was just a terrific experience! I just wish I wouldn't had lost that big snook in the mangroves...oh well maybe next time! In addition I would have no hesitation in recommending your guide service to anyone considering a fishing trip in southwest Florida. Best wishes, David J. Crouch |
