Marco island and Naples Fl offer a verity of inshore/backcountry species. We all love to target snook ,tarpon and redfish but we also have sea trout, triple tail and monster jacks that roam the backcountry. Trout have been plentiful around the outside island and the deep backcountry holes. Shrimp tipped jigs are great at getting action on a cold winter days. When the weather warms and gulf temps rise to 70 degrees or greater look for bait to start to move back onto the beaches . 10ft 1/4in mesh cast net is perfect for those fast winter beach baits. With cold fronts coming every week , make sure to take advantage of those good days and get out on the water and enjoy this great playground.
