Always great fishing a few days before a cold front is supposed to reach us. Snook and redfish were abundant in the Deeper backcountry bays and islands. Live bait with a pop N cork attached and a close cast to the mangroves, really was important in getting those hard strikes. Now that the weather has changed and water temps are on the cool look for sea trout to make there way into shallows. I use a 3/8oz jig with a artificial shrimp and some pro cure shrimp sauce to get the action going. It’s important to slow everything down when we have these cold temps as our fish just get lazy. Look for temperatures to rebound back to the upper 70s by the weekend. <•{{{{><
