Every morning starts with a few throws of my cast to load up on live bait. Then it’s off to to the backcountry for some snook/redfish/seatrout & Tarpon action. For my fly anglers a surface fly (gurgler) casted tight to the trees will insure a strike. Sea trout have been on the feed. Looking for current rips that have some depth. What’s been working is A live bait tight to the bottom. A split shot for lighter currents and a 1/2oz led for fast currents. Fly fishing a Clouser pattern with a slower retrieve in the same current is another way to get these fish tight on the line.
