This weeks strong incoming tides have been producing some great inshore & backcountry action. I have fishing my trips around the Naples and Marco island areas hunting snook , redfish , sea trout, pompano, and mangrove snapper. We have been concentrating on shorelines that are piled with small live baits & birds. I always say if you can find the food you’ll find the fish and that has worked to perfection. Higher tides have these fish tight under the bushes so make sure you cast is up tight in the pockets and just off the trees. Mangrove snapper are full affect so be ready to go through tons of bait before you are tied up to a nice size snook or red fish. Mangrove snapper are some of the tastiest fish the gulf has to offer & fish tacos are a staple in our household. Make sure they are bigger than 10 inches and you are allowed five per person. Just remember to get up early get it while the getten is good. C u on the water !!!!!!
