It’s been a great week for some bigger snook being caught. The waters around Naples Florida and Marco island remain clear so it’s been a sight fisherman’s dream. We have had strong incoming tides in the mornings and this has also been great for Sea trout and redfish. I have been concentrating on shorelines with good current and of course lots of small bait to keep these fish in the feeding mode. Live pilchards are still the best bait around and a well placed cast close to the structure will insure a hard strike. Naples and Marco island have been getting there share of heavy afternoon rains so it’s best to get out early and get it while the getting is good.
